I am a Registered Music Therapist clinician in the greater Melbourne suburbs. Since 2006, when I delivered a paper on the importance of professional supervision at the AMTA National Conference, I have engaged in my own supervision. My interest led to supervision certification and now providing clinical supervision.

I have over twenty five years experience in a variety of social welfare and health agencies as a Project Worker, Clinician and Manager, both here and in the UK . I have a particular interest in Social Work Education, Supervision & Training with a focus on Cross Cultural and Intersectional work. I am an active member of the AASW as a member of the Victorian CPD committee and for several years convening the VMHSW (Victorian Mental Health Social Workers Practice Group). Last year I was on the Working group reviewing The AASW Practice Standards & have previously served on the Board of Studies at Monash University Social Work Course. I have until recently been an active member of both The Victorian Mental Health Interprofessional Leadership Network and the Moreland Reconciliation Working Group.

Hello! I'm an Occupational Therapist and mental health worker, coordinator, trainer. I have worked in Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Non-clinical Mental Health roles with a wide range of ages from young people to older adults (primarily 15+; no or very limited CAMHS experience). I am passionate about inclusion, choice and human rights. I have experience and interests in Motivational Interviewing, Dual Diagnosis / Integrated Care, and am open to supervising across Allied Health disciplines. I have had roles in service development, consultation and workforce development and cross-service initiatives.

I have been fortunate to benefit from clinical supervision for all my career, initially in my first OT role in a psychiatric inpatient unit for children; a long time ago now where we wrote up child psychotherapy sessions verbatim and presented in group with a child psychoanalyst. I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Gestalt Therapy in 2001 adding to my approach in clinical work and supervision: client led dialogue, relationship and awareness. With experience as a supervisee, I consistently offered supervision, completing formal education with the Melbourne University Centre for Psychiatric Nursing Research and Practice in 2004.
