The Collaborative Centre is pleased to be hosting our first ‘In Conversation’ event for 2024.

Join us as we host a team of leading mental health and wellbeing researchers from Northern Ireland who are on a similar journey of reform for a more effective and evidence-based mental health system.

Professor Gavin Davidson, Dr Claire McCartan and Dr Ciaran Mulholland are contributing to the implementation of the new Northern Ireland Mental Health Strategy 2021-31, which sets out objectives for how evidence, data and innovation will support better treatment, care and support, and the establishment of a centre of excellence for mental health research. The work is person-centred and has been co-produced with people with lived and living experience and their carers, families and supporters.

The event will include a panel discussion with Q&A followed by morning tea and informal networking. It will provide a wonderful opportunity to share insights, lessons, challenges and successes, and to join a conversation about how mental health treatment, care and support can be improved both locally and globally.

Register for this event by visiting our Consortium partner at University of Melbourne.
